Servings:   2

Description:
I made this beef steak for the first time :D If you're really hungry, crumble some additional sausage and add potato wedges.

Ingredients:
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/4 onion
* salt and pepper to taste
* 2 beef steak
* 1 tablespoon cooking oil
* half glass chicken broth

marinated beef in:
* 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
* 1 cm shredded ginger
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* half teaspoon oregano
* 1 teaspoon melted margarine

Directions:
1. Marinated the beef for about 2 hours in a shallow dish. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
2. Heat the cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the steak in the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes for each side. Add chicken broth, and bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low. Cover, and simmer until steak is tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
3. To serve, remove steak from the skillet. Place on serving plates, and ladle sauce over meat. Serve with fried potato,and buttered green peas.

Yes.
I was going home from work at 4 p.m. Two hours earlier, because my workplace area was running out electricity since 2 p.m. One of the boss then *reluctantly-but-has-no-better-reason-to make me stay* give me permit to go home. Yaaay!

Better to do a good thing, right? I cannot repeat this unusual occasion every day!
Cooking dinner is my next plan! I got beef, green peas, potatoes..time to make a yummy dinner for my Oscar! :)

I made a well-done steak served with fried potato wedges (and sprinkled with shredded cheese over top), buttered greenpeas and creamy sauce!
